Reverse Engineering with Subassembly Composer for AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2 of 14 Autodesk Subassembly Composer for AutoCAD® Civil 3D® The ‘Subassembly Composer® for AutoCAD Civil 3D®’ (hereafter referred to as Subassembly Composer) program is used to create subassemblies to supplement the stock subassemblies that come with Civil 3D. Hello everyone, I have Autocad Civil 3D 2012 and it’s ok, it’s enough for me for now, but I have problem because I can’t download Subassembly Composer for Civil 3D 2012 from anywhere and I really need it. It isn’t in installation disk of Civil 3D 2012, it isn’t on my Autodesk account. Autodesk Civil 3D supports BIM for civil engineering design and documentation for transportation, land development, and water and wastewater projects. I'm assuming here you already havea working knowledge of the software package, particularly as it relates to using corridors for design. This is an advanced course for thosereally wanting to extend the functionalityof a core piece of design software. We'll start with the most important partof any development process, planning and the process. After discussion of whereevery subassembly's development starts,we'll move to building a seriesof simple subassembliesby using the basic tools of the Subassembly Composer.Next we'll add some complexityto allow you to become a sophisticatedsubassembly composer, specifically we'll add some visual basic codein the decision making to our subassembliesand learn about what this can doto really impress your boss and coworkers.
Most importantly, though, we'll spend timeworking on our processand how to use a consistent, repeatable, and thorough planning methodologyto ensure you're not having to recode continuallyor leading down a path that can't be solvedby a custom subassembly. This course is generally filled with standalone lessonsthat, when piled together, will give youa firm grasp on creating your own subassemblies. We will also keep an eye on proper planningand building subassemblies that are based uponreal world design problems. We'll be covering all these featuresplus plenty of other tools and techniques.I'm excited for you to join mein what will be a course that extendsyour knowledge of Civil 3D to a whole new level.
Now, let's get started with learningthe Autocad Civil 3D Subassembly Composer.
